Frequently Asked Questions
How much blood/hair/breast milk do I need to give for my sample?
Sample requirement depends on the wellness test ordered. For the Hair Mineral Analysis, a gram of new growth hair is sufficient. For both, the Omega-3 (DHA Breast Milk and Blood) tests a drop or two of blood and breast milk deposited on specialized absorbent pads.
Is my information confidential?
At Avazera, your privacy is just as important to us as it is to you. The information you provide and your test results are confidential. Your test is confidential with Avazera, our partner testing laboratory, and our third-party Wellness Practitioner network.
How long does the testing process take?
Once your order is complete, your AZ Wellness Kit will be shipped within 1 business day and you will receive your order within 3-5 business days depending on your location. Once your sample reaches the lab you will typically receive your results in 5 business days, depending on which test you ordered. If you have questions about a specific order or sample, please email us directly at email@example.com
What is the difference between a hair and blood analysis?
Hair vs. Blood Analysis
• Research shows that trace minerals and metals are accumulated at concentrations that are 10-50% higher in hair
• Blood and urine tests give an instantaneous reading that may be affected by many factors. Urine screening is the most effective tool in measuring the progress of detoxification/chelation treatments
• Hair analysis gives a long term reading that is unaffected by recent meals, activities such as exercise, or emotional states
• Toxic metals rarely remain in the blood or urine for long, but often deposit in the hair where they can be measured over a three month period
